Seven Year Old Has Barcelona Trial
A seven year old boy from Britain could be about to sign for one of the world's biggest football clubs after being spotted by scouts while having a kickabout on holiday.
Kai Fifield from Northampton has now had a trial with Barcelona, the team who beat Manchester United in the 2011 Champions League Final in May.
His dad's described him as "a mini Messi", after Lionel Messi, one of Barcelona's star players. The family are now waiting for Barca to get back to them with news of whether Kai has a place at their club.
Kai told Sky Sports News a move to Spain would suit him perfectly. "I do like some English teams but Spanish football is much better," he said. "They play ball to feet, they're better teams, except Real Madrid and English players just smack the ball up the pitch."
