Two Killed In Crash

A woman and an 18-month-old baby are in a critical condition in hospital after a road crash near Corby in which two men died.

The four were travelling in a silver Mazda 5 when the car crashed into a white DAF truck on the A43 from Duddington to Corby on the evening of Tuesday 4 December 2012.

Two male passengers in the Mazda, aged 21 and 28, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Mazda sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A police spokeswoman said the baby is in a critical condition in Birmingham Children's Hospital, while the woman is being treated in Peterborough.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
