Weather Wizards

From the mini-heatwave, to the big freeze, Heart's been keeping you up to date with ultra-local weather forecasts from the county's weather station at Pitsford Hall.

It's run from the grounds of Northamptonshire Grammar School and has been keeping weather records for the last ten years. 

Staff at the weather centre are trained in observational practice following the guidelines of the UK Meteorological Office.

We've been using it to keep listeners right upto date with specific forecasts for the county.

To get a picture for the north of the county we also use some data from the excellent Northants Weather website, based in Desborough.
