The races come to town

It's the May Festival at the Chester races with thousands expected.

Sixty thousand people will descend on Cheshire this week for the Chester Races.

The 3 day May Festival attracts people from all around the country who want to watch the races or just simply soak up the atmosphere.

New to the races this year is an additional restaurant and decking where race goers can watch the action.

There's also guided tours of the race course and an iPhone app where you can follow live scores and find tips on placing bets.

Heart's Heather Clancy went along to see how they're getting ready for a busy few days.
