Wrexham soldier remembers The Falklands

Alan Loose was lucky to escape from the Royal Navy ship which had been hit by the Argentinians.

As services are being held in Britain and also in Argentina to mark the thirtieth anniversary of the start of the Falklands conflict, one veteran has been remembering his time during the war.

Alan Loose from Wrexham was in the first battalion of the Royal Welsh when we was sent to the island on the QE2 cruise liner which was used by the military to transport troops.
