A Police investigation has started after a body was found in Wisbech.

Officers were called by the Ambulance Service after the body was discovered in a building in North Brink at around 11:45am yesterday (Saturday).

Police are describing it as a 'sudden death'.

It is being treated as unexplained and an isolated incident.

It's not not currently being linked to the murder of 86 year old widow Una Crown, who was stabbed and set on fire in her bungalow on Magazine Lane, Wisbech, last Sunday.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said next of kin have not yet been informed about the death.
