Energy Team Take To The Water

Energy team under the guidance of French skipper Loick Peyron took to the water for the first time at the weekend trying to get used to the conditions in Plymouth Sound. They had a few problems with the rigging but within an hour they were 'flying a hull' across the Sound at a rate of 30 knots.

It was important for Enegry Team to get out on the water before the weather conditions worsened, the more time the better for teams looking to steal a march over the other boats. The sailing conditions for the remainder of the event are looking quite good.
