Safer Internet Use For Web Users

Safer and more responsible use of online technology among children and people is being promoted during a Safer Internet event being held at the city's University on Tuesday.

Primary schoolchildren will learn how to use computers and cameras safely while older children will work with technicians to explore safe communications, storage and gaming online.

Parents, grandparents and young people will learn together and practitioners will share developments and resources for best practice on the internet.

Plymouth's local policing team will be present on the day at this multi-agency event.

The primary school session in the morning is full. But no secondary schools have signed-up for the afternoon and there is room in the evening sessions for adults.
