Warning to Plymouth's Young Drivers
Young drivers in Devon are the focus for Plymouth fire service after shocking figures showed youngsters between 17 and 24 accounted for almost half of road accidents.
49% of that age group were involved in crashes due to speed and the same figure was recorded for injury collisions between 10pm and 5am.
The cost of each fatal road traffic collision is more than 1.5 million pounds and the fire service has committed to cutting down the number of fatalities in Devon.
