Lawson's Andy Brown Visits The Doctor Who Saved His Life

Lawson visited the doctor who saved Andy's life and inspired their band name in Liverpool over the weekend.

Andy's mum Bernice joined the group as they visited the Walton Neurological Centre in Liverpool to meet Dr. Lawson on Friday (5th October).

The surgeon saved Andy's life six years ago after completing a 15-hour operation to remove a brain tumour.

The band invited Dr. Lawson onstage during their performance at the Echo Arena that evening, and there was barely a dry eye in the house.

Bassist Ryan Fletcher broke into tears after the touching tribute.

'What a moment and an honour to bring on stage the man that inspired our name and saved Andy's life, Dr David Lawson,' tweeted drummer Adam Pitts after the show.
