The news of her departure from the show comes as it was revealed that her ex Ant McPartlin will be back on TV screens hosting the Britain's Got Talent auditions in the new year.
This follows a near year long break which saw the 43-year-old Geordie miss his usual end of year gig as a co-host alongside Declan Donnelly on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.
Fans have been reaching out to Lisa as the decision to axe her seems to be related to the return of her former husband to the ITV show.
One of the tweets she has liked using her account read: "Poor @lisaAmakeup, so she loses her job on @BGT because Ant is obviously returning to work, but he is the one who got caught drink driving and cheated on her. Awful decision."
