RULES

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Ryanair Feel Good Friday’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Friday 19th September 2014 on Heart Solent.

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

3.   Entrants must listen for the aircraft noise on-air during the Breakfast Show and then text the word AIRPORT followed by their name to 82122 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

4.   All Entrants selected to play on air will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and the conversation will be recorded and played on-air. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.

5.  One caller is selected at random to play and will have thirty seconds to correctly answer five general knowledge questions. If a question is answered incorrectly, or all five questions are not answered within thirty seconds, a new competitor will be required to attempt the five questions and will be randomly selected by telephone. The phone number is 0345 481 11 11 and the times of the opening and closing of the lines will be announced on air by the presenter. Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates.

6.  This process will be repeated until a competitor answers all five questions correctly within the 30 second time limit and the winner will be announced on air.

Eligibility:

7.    All entrants must be aged 18 or over and have a valid passport.

8.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:

9.    One winner will receive a holiday for two in Malaga including:

  • Return flights for travel on Ryanair's Bournemouth to Malaga route

  • 3 nights accommodation in a four star hotel in Malaga including breakfast

  • £250 spending money

10.  The prize must be booked by 29th September 2014.

11.  Flights and hotel must be completed before 31st January 2015 excluding travel during the school holidays .

12.  Normal rules of carriage apply.

13.  Terms and conditions apply and flights are subject to availability.

14.  Hotel is classed as a 4 star and is based on two people sharing a twin or double room with ensuite facilities on a bed and breakfast basis.

15.  The £250 spending money will be supplied as a cheque within 28 days of winning

16.  Global Radio will provide the winner and their travel companion(s) with standard travel insurance ("the Policy") for the holiday.  The Policy is only valid in respect of the holiday as given away by Global Radio, and any alterations made to it by the winner (such as altering the hotel) will automatically invalidate the Policy and the winner will be required to purchase their own travel insurance.  Provision of the Policy to the winner is subject to the winner and their travel companion(s) notifying Global Radio's Insurance Provider ("the Insurer") of any pre-existing medical conditions prior to travel, and the Insurer may at their sole discretion refuse cover entirely or exclude cover in respect of the reported medical condition.  In the event that the Insurer refuses cover to any individual, such individual is responsible for purchasing their own travel insurance and ensuring that it adequately meets their needs.  Global Radio will provide the winner with details of the Policy and instructions on how to report pre-existing medical conditions to the Insurer once the holiday has been won.  Upon receiving details of the Policy, should the winner (or their travel companion) decide they require more comprehensive or personalised cover, they must purchase their own travel insurance to meet their needs.

17.  Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
