M5: Man Hit By Lorry On Motorway

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the M5 during the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened shortly before 1am on the northbound section of the motorway between junctions 22 and 21. 

A lorry travelling northbound was in collision with a pedestrian at about 00.51am. 

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Collision investigators are keen to speak to anyone who was travelling along the motorway at the time of the incident, who may have information to help their enquiries. 

Anyone able to help is asked to contact the collision investigation unit on the force number 101.
