Around 4.10pm yesterday (Thursday, April 19), a motorcycle collided with an articulated lorry on Hazel Road, Woolston.
The rider, a 25-year-old woman from Portsmouth, was trapped under the lorry and as a result suffered serious injuries to her arm.
She was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment where she remains.
