A body's been found washed up on the salt flats near Chichester Harbour.
On Sunday 22 July at 5pm, officers were called by the Coastguard Service to Itchenor Sailing Club, near Chichester, following reports of a body in the water.
Police have now confirmed that a body, wearing swimming trunks and goggles, was recovered a short while later from just outside the Harbour on the salt flats.
The body is believed to be that of a 62-year old Chichester man.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious and the Coroner's Officer has been informed.
