CCTV Released In Southampton Attack

Police have issued a CCTV image after a 21-year-old Southampton man had his jaw broken in two places following an unprovoked attack.

The man was walking past Junk Nightclub on London Road, Southampton, at 1.10am on Wednesday, July 27.  He stopped to speak with a group of people who were stood by the post boxes and bicycle storage area when he was punched in the face by
an unknown man.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or believes they are able to identify the man in the CCTV image should contact PC Tracey Purcell at Southampton Central police station on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity line anonymously on 0800
