Pedestrian In Collision With A BMW On The Avenue On Friday Night
Concern For Missing Hampshire Dad
Police in the New forest are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 56-year-old man from the New Milton area who hasn’t been seen since Sunday, May 13
Contact with John Dunkel was last made by his 13-year-old son at around 8pm on May 13. He hasn’t been seen or been in contact since then with any of his family. None of his known friends have had any contact from him either.
When he was last seen he was driving a Renault traffic caravan. This has since been recovered near the junction of White Knights and Barton Court Avenue in Barton-on Sea. It is believed to have been there since the day John was last seen.Though he comes from the New Milton area friends and relatives had different addresses for him and it’s thought most recently he may have been staying in the West Hill Road area of Bournemouth.
It known John has had financial worries and other concerns recently, they may have led him to be depressed.
Police are appealing for anyone who has seen John or knows where he may be to contact them as soon as possible.
John is described as:
-5ft 6 inches tall
-stocky with beer belly
-probably tanned skin (from working outdoors)
-always wears glasses
-short brown hair which is starting to grey and thin
-hazel coloured eyes
-often carries a black and white rucksack and likes to wear tanned work boots.
Anyone with information about John Dunkel’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Duty Sergeant at Lymington Police on 101.
Officers say many of those were after people didn't secure their car properly.
James Hemming pleaded guilty to wounding with intent after a 17-year-old girl was badly injured in Fratton.
Dorset and Hampshire officers will be carrying out extra patrols until New Year's Day.
