Fatal M27 Crash: Lorry Driver Released On Bail
A lorry driver arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the M27 has been released on bail.
A man in his 40s died following the collision on the Westbound carriageway near junction 5 for Southampton airport yesterday morning.
The 50-year-old man from Southampton who was arrested has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police are continuing to conduct their investigation into the collision, and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident and who has not yet made contact with officers to please call them.
Officers say many of those were after people didn't secure their car properly.
James Hemming pleaded guilty to wounding with intent after a 17-year-old girl was badly injured in Fratton.
Dorset and Hampshire officers will be carrying out extra patrols until New Year's Day.
