Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by another man as he left a Southampton bar.
He was bitten so badly on the nose that he needed 9 stitches to the inside and outside of his nose.
The 37-year-old accidently bumped into a man as he came down the stairs at the ‘Dock Gate 4’ Bar in Ocean Village. He apologised and asked how the man was and they walked down the stairs together making small talk however as they left the club the man attacked him biting his nose viciously.
The victim had to push and then eventually punch the man to get him to let go. He went to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
It happened on Saturday, March 19 at around 2am.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident who may have seen it happen or know who is responsible.
