Man Stabbed In Face In Southampton

Police in Southampton are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the face with a knife.

It happened at around 6pm on Sunday, November 27 when several people came into his house through an open door at his flat in Ascupart Street. He was stabbed to the head with a knife causing a cut near his right eye. The offenders then made off.

The 47-year-old victim made his way to a friend home and an ambulance was called and he was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
Two women aged 22 and 28 and two men aged 19 and 41 have been arrested as part of the investigation. They are currently in custody being questioned by officers.

Officers are asking for anyone who saw the incident or anyone running off from the area to contact them at Southampton Central Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
