Police Investigate Racist Abuse In Ringwood

Police are investigating after three teenagers subjected a petrol station worker to racist abuse in Ringwood.

It happened on Sunday August the 1st at the Somerfield garage on the A31 west bound.

A group of youths entered the petrol station store at around 3.30am and attempted to steal items.

They were challenged by the shop worker which led to one of the youths making racially abusive comments towards him.

Another of the group used a water pistol that was for sale on the garage forecourt to squirt water at the shop worker.

The youths then got back into a maroon coloured Ford KA and left the garage driving along the A31.
