Police Look For Man Who Helped Robbery Victim

Police in Totton are appealing for a man who went to the aid of an attempt robbery victim in the Calmore area at the weekend to contact them.

The man is said to have gone to the aid of the victim after he was approached by two other men who demanded money from him.
 
The alleged incident occured in Calmore Road, opposite Calderwood and Flowerdown Close sometime between 11pm on Saturday, May 15 and 1am on Sunday, May 16.
 
The 26 year old local man claims the two men approached him after emerging from some bushes and asked him in a threatening manner to hand over his money.  Nothing was handed over and the two men, who were white and dressed in black, ran off when the ‘Good Samaritan’ came to his aid. 
 
If you are the man who intervened or someone who may have witnessed or seen something suspicious in the area at that time, please contact the police.
