Woman Rescued From Flood Water Near Ringwood

A driver has been rescued from fast-flowing flood water on the edge of the New Forest.

Fire crews were called to a car trapped in deep, fast-flowing flood water on Harbridge Green Road in Harbridge, between Ringwood and Fordingbridge, at 6pm on Wednesday 15 January.

One woman was rescued from the car by firefighters.

Appliances from Fordingbridge, Ringwood and the specialist water rescue team from Fareham attended the incident

The Ringwood and Fordingbridge areas have been among the worst affected by the recent flooding, with many roads having to be closed due to flood water.
