Bungay: Body Found In River
The body of a man has been found in the River Waveney at Bungay.
Officers were called at around 12:20pm on Saturday (10 August) by a member of the public who reported seeing a body in the water near to Waveney Valley Campsite.
Emergency services attended the location, which is off the A143, near the overbridge at Outney. The man was taken out of the water and despite attempts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced deceased.
Police say the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
