Bury St Edmunds: Arrests By Armed Police

Men arrested after armed police called to street in Bury St Edmunds.


Armed police have arrested a man on suspicion of having a gun, and another on suspicion of having an offensive weapon after an incident earlier.

Officers closed off Mayfield Road in Bury St Edmunds just after 1.30, after reports a man had been threatened there - its now re-opened.

A 22 and 23 year old are due to be questioned later.
