Police are appealing for information after suspicious devices were found on cash points at Copdock.

 

Police are appealing for information after devices were found on cash points located outside Tesco at Copdock on Wednesday 18th July.

Members of staff at the store alerted police to suspicious devices found on the machines, shortly before 8am this morning.  ‘Skimming’ devices were removed from two of the machines and enquiries are underway to ascertain who is responsible for attaching them.

Three males were seen acting suspiciously near the machines at around 8.40am on Sunday 15th July. 

Members of the public who have used the machines are advised to contact their card issuer.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or who has any information in relation to this incident is asked to call PC Jacqueline Philpot at Babergh East Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
