Great Barton: Police Name Couple Killed In A143 Crash
Two people killed in a crash in Great Barton last week have been named by police.
Lindsay and Georgina Wise, aged 85 and 87, from Michaelhouse Way, Stanton, were pronounced dead at the scene after a collision with a lorry on the A143 on Wednesday morning.
Police are still calling for witnesses to that crash.
The sons of Lindsay and Georgina Wise, Jeff and Laurie have released a tribute to their parents:
"Our family has yet to come to terms with the sudden loss of our parents, and our children's grandparents, in a tragic road accident.
"Kind, generous and unassuming, they brought us into this world and looked after us all, unfaltering, for more than 60 years.
"We now have to let them go, thankfully together, and with tremendous gratitude for their love, guidance and devotion."
