Ipswich: 16 Year Old Charged Over Park Robberies

A teenage boy has been charged with a robbery and three attempted robberies at an Ipswich park.

 

A teenager has been remanded in custody in connection with a robbery and three attempted robberies which happened in Ipswich last night, Friday 15 November.

 

The 16 year old boy from Ipswich has been charged with one count of robbery, three counts of attempted robbery and possession of a class B drug (Cannabis).

 

The charges relate to offences which were committed in and near to Gippeswyk Park on Friday 15 November.

The 16 year old will be appearing at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

 

Police have also arrested a second teenager, a 17 year old boy from Ipswich in connection with these incidents. He is currently being held in custody at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre, having been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
