Ipswich: Arrest Over Attempted Robberies

Police in Ipswich have arrested a man in connection with two attempted robberies in the town.

The first robbery occurred at the One Stop on Cambridge Drive at around 9:45pm on Tuesday 22nd May, with the second incident taking place at the Co-op shop on Sheldrake Drive just hours later at around 12:15am Wednesday 23 May.

The 29-year-old Ipswich man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and is currently being questioned at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.

Anyone with information in relation to either incident is asked to contact the Priority Crime Team at Ipswich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
