Ipswich: Female Security Guard Robbed
A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery after a cash box was taken from a security guard in Ipswich on Saturday.
Police were called to Stoke Park Drive at 11.27am to reports that the box had been taken outside Asda. The female security guard was knocked over but was unhurt.
Officers attended and searched the area, and just before midday a 21-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested at Ipswich Docks. The cash box has been located close to where the robbery took place and further inquiries are being carried out in the area this afternoon.
Anyone with information about this incident should call Ipswich CID on 101.
