Ipswich: Man Arrested Over Kidnapping

A man who fell from a balcony during a police raid in Ipswich has been arrested in relation to a kidnapping.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in relation to a kidnapping in Bell Close, Ipswich, which happened in March.

The man, who is from Ipswich, was arrested this morning after being eleased from Ipswich Hospital where he was receiving treatment for his injuries after he fled from police officers raiding a house on Duke Street on Monday 13 May.

He has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap, burglary, assault, false imprisonment and possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and has been taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
