Ipswich: Man Charged After Kidnapping

A man has been charged in connection with a kidnapping in Ipswich.

A 23-year-old has been charged in relation to a kidnapping in Bell Close, Ipswich, which happened on 4 March 2013.

Ishmael O’Connor of Nacton Crescent was arrested on Friday 24 May having been released from Ipswich Hospital where he was receiving treatment for injuries sustained as he fled from police officers executing a warrant at an address in Duke Street on Monday 13 May.

He was subsequently charged with false imprisonment and GBH and is due in crown court in June.
