Heart's being told about a new £10,000 project to help families in Ipswich.

Ipswich Borough Council is giving the money to charities The Iceni Project, who help people struggling with addiction and their families, and Home Start Babergh who give families and children support for a range of different problems.

The scheme is to give families who are struggling some extra help and support.

Ipswich MP Ben Gummer is the patron and is telling Heart it will give parents an extra place to go if they are worried: "Unfortunately there isn't much support for a lot of parents and a lot of people are left on their own and that's something we've got to fix and so if people think 'I don't think there's much out there', sadly, a lot of the time they're right. That's why this project is so important."
