Ipswich: Teens With Hammers Threaten Man

A man's been threatened by three teenaged boys with hammers, during an attempted robbery.

It happened on Sunday 22 July at approximately 8.20pm, near to the junction of The Drift and Nacton Road.

A man was approached in the street by three male teenagers, each carrying a hammer. They threatened the man and made an attempt to steal his motorbike.

The male victim was hit on the wrist with a hammer, sustaining slight injuries and the motorbike was thrown to the floor. The teenagers ran off along Nacton Road, towards the Ravenswood area.

The first offender is described as a white man, with short dark hair, of a 'stocky' build, between 18 to 20-years-old and was wearing a light grey hooded tracksuit.The second offender is described as a white man, of a slim build, approximately 5'8" tall, between 14 to 16-years-old and was wearing a light coloured hooded tracksuit top.The third offender is described as a white man, of a slim build, approximately 5'8" tall,between 14 to 16-years-old and was wearing a light coloured hooded tracksuit top.Anyone with information about the incident or recognises any of the individuals described is asked to call Ipswich Priority Crime Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
