More than 100 people have lost their lives through suicide in prisons in England and Wales so far this year, an all-time record.
Ipswich: Woman Found on Path Dies
The woman found unconcious on a footpath in Ipswich on Wednesday night has died in hospital.
The 38-year-old woman who was found off Black Horse Lane in Ipswich at around 8.10pm on Wednesday 9 November.
Ipswich Police were told yesterday afternoon by Ipswich Hospital that the woman died earlier on Sunday.
Police are treating the woman’s death as unexplained.
A post mortem will be carried in due course to find out the cause of death and a file will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the woman in the area between 7pm and 8.10pm on the evening of Wednesday 9 November or anyone with information about how the woman came to be on the footpath to call Ipswich CID on 101.
