Man Dies After Pub Fight

A man who was injured after a disturbance outside a pub at the weekend has died from his injuries.

It happened at the Smock public house, Maindenhall Approach, Ipswich early on Sunday morning 17th April.

The 20 year old man had been taken to Addenbrooks hospital in Cambridge for specialist care for his head injuries.

He passed away this morning just before 7am.

A post mortem will be conducted today, and the results should be released on Wednesday.

Suffolk Police are still investigating what happened.

Two men aged 35 and 44 from Ipswich are on police bail and will have to return to Ipswich police station on Thursday 19th May pending further enquiries.
