Man Shot With Air Rifle Outside Home

It happened in Chapel Lane in Little Cornard as the man was outside with his dog.

The A 41-year-old heard several shot noises and was then hit by pellets to his hand, head and neck.

The man went back into his house and heard a car drive off. He then called the ambulance service and was taken to Colchester Hospital where he received treatment for minor injuries.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Chapel Lane, Little Cornard and noticed any suspicious activity or saw a car leaving the area at around 7pm last night, Friday 4 January.
