The Mid Suffolk and North Ipswich MP Dr Dan Poulter is questioning why some doctors are walking out on strike today over their pensions.

The British Medical Association says around 100-thousand doctors are taking industrial action today over changes to their pensions, but insist the dispute will not affect patient safety.

Dr Poulter has said in an interview this morning he thinks they have a good pension deal on the table, and says the only people to suffer during the dispute will be the patients.
