Hastings : Man Robbed At Knifepoint

A man has been threatened with a knife and robbed in Hastings.

Police say the 23-year-old was walking home along Queens Road at 4am Sunday 5 January when two men ran in front of him at Portland Place steps demanding his phone.

The man's hooded top, bank card and some cash were also taken.

Detective sergeant Tony Webb said: "The victim was thankfully unhurt in this robbery and we are asking if anyone recognises these men who may have been involved. They are described as both white and one was described as wearing a grey Adidas hooded top and the other was wearing camouflage trousers.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 159 of 5/1 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
