Suspect in Betting shop raid

Police have released an Efit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at Ladbrokes betting shop in Boundary Road, Portslade, which took place on Monday 8 February.

The man went into the shop at 6.30pm armed with a knife and demanded cash from a member of staff.

Several hundred pounds was handed over to the robber who ran off towards Portslade railway station and then headed towards New Church Road.

The male staff member was unhurt.

The suspect is described as white, around 30 years old, and of large build with a distinctive tattoo on his forearm going up to his elbow.
