RULES

1.    The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.heart.co.uk/terms-conditions/competition) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Royal Canin’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run on Saturday 15th November 2014.

2.    Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:

3.    To enter the Competition an Entrant must go to the Heart Angel areas in either Bristol's Cabot Circus or Birmingham Bullring on Saturday 15th November between 09:00 and 20:00 and register their details. 

4.   One winner will be randomly selected from all entries (from both sites).

5.    The winner will be notified within 28 days of closing competition date.

6.    Entrant can also take part in the Winning Whirlwind, which is an inflatable pod through which vouchers and air is blown while the entrant is inside. 

7.    Entrants must be a minimum of six years of age, but being Under 18, a parent/guardian must supervise them; the parent or guardian must register their details on behalf of the younger entrant.

8.    Anyone appearing under the age of 18 may be asked for ID. If you do not have ID, you may be refused entry.

9.    The Winning Whirlwind mechanic will open and close at various times throughout the day. The first game play registration at Cabot Circus will open at 10am, in the Bullring the first game play registration will open at 9am. The rest of the games entry and close times will be announced on the day.

WINNING WHIRLWIND: 

10.    Only one person at a time can be in the Winning Whirlwind. 

11.   Heart reserves the right to ask you to remove any clothing that might be used to store prize vouchers called “hearts” (i.e. clothing with pockets, zip-up tops)

12.    The process for taking part is as follows:

• You must remove your shoes when entering the Winning Whirlwind and wear the protective eyewear provided
• Stand in the Winning Whirlwind with your back to the blower
• You have 15 seconds to grab in your hands as many Hearts as you can;
• You must NOT block the blower or pick any Hearts off of the inside of the chamber walls or floor, doing so will result in immediate disqualification;
• You must not place “hearts” upon your person or clothes i.e. pockets, inside top etc doing so will result in immediate disqualification;
• At the end of the 15 seconds the Heart Angels will ask you to empty the contents of your hands into a bucket and this will be the number of “hearts” you have scored.

13.   Winning Whirlwind participants Entrants must be a minimum of six years of age. Under 18’s must be supervised by parent or guardian and have parental/guardian consent to participate. 

14.   Entrants must be in good health, the Winning Whirlwind should not be used by any member of the public who:

(i)  is recovering from any injuries;
(ii)  suffers from heart or back problems;
(iii) suffers from epilepsy;
(iv) is pregnant;

15.    Entrants must not have recently consumed alcohol or any other intoxicating substances. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of intoxicating substances may be refused entry and such decisions will be at the sole discretion of the Radio Station.

16.    Entrants must be 18 years old or over.

17.    Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

18.    £500 Premier Cottages gift voucher (www.premiercottages.co.uk)

19.  The voucher may be redeemed at any cottage promoted in the current brochure or on the website, as part or full payment.

10.  Gift cards will be valid for 36 months from purchase date.

21.  No change will be issued to the member cottage owner if cottage chosen is under £500, however the member cottage owner may choose to give change to the guest.

22.  The guest should declare the anticipated use of the voucher at the time of booking, or two weeks prior to settling the final bill.

23.    Each voucher features a unique reference ID code and may only be redeemed once, cannot be exchanged for cash and is non-refundable, subject to the refunds policy. However once downloaded, may be reprinted.

24.  Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
