It's hoped more adopted children in Berkshire from troubled backgrounds will get help settling into their new homes

The charity PACT - has started a counselling service - called FACTS (Fostering and Adoption Consultation Therapeutic Service) . It's aiming to work with around 20 to 30 families every year.

The service, along with a new therapy room, is based at the PACT Head Offices in Reading.

It's to help children who have had troubled backgrounds and may have been abused or neglected.
