Thames Valley Police has released images of eight men they want to speak to about a fight involving up to 60 people at Newbury Racecourse in the summer.

At around 4pm on Saturday 14 July a fight broke out between men who had come to the races from Cardiff and Swansea.

It is thought the disorder began on the ground floor of the grandstand and then spread to the racecourse itself.

Around 60 people were involved, but police moved quickly to bring the situation under control.

Supt Robin Rickard, Local Policing Area Commander for West Berkshire, said: "This was a nasty incident involving up to 60 people fighting in the middle of the afternoon and impacted on lots of innocent people and families.

"We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour and are determined to bring justice to all those responsible."
