Pavements In Reading To Be Resurfaced

£70,000 is being spent doing up pavements in Reading over the next month.

The improvement works will start today (Monday) and are scheduled to run until Friday October 26th. They will start at 09:00 and should finish by 17:30.

Earlier in the summer, £1m was already spent on improving road surfaces as part of an annual campaign. 

Tony Page, Reading's Lead Councillor for Regeneration, Transport and Planning, said: "I'd like to thank local residents for their patience and co-operation whilst the improvement works are carried out." 

A full schedule of works is detailed below. 

Fircroft Close: 1st October and last 2 days.
Beverley Road: 2nd October and, last 1 day.
Kentwood Close: 3rd October and last 2 days.
Coniston Drive: 4th October and last 1 day.
Rydal Avenue: 5th October and last 2 day.
Upper Warren Avenue: 8th October and last 1 day
Worcester Close: 8th October and last 2 days
Carlton Road: 9th October and last 2 days
Kearsley Road: 9th October and last 1 day
Eric Avenue: 10th October and last 2 days
Barn Close : 10th October and last 1 day
Sheep Walk: 11th October and last 1 day
