Reading: Man Dies In Police Car Collision
A man has died and a police officer has been injured after a collision with a police car in Reading.
The car was responding to reports of a burglary in progress in Eastern Avenue at approximately 1.45am (6/8) when the collision happened.
The man died at the scene. The police officer was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Wokingham Road is expected to stay shut for several hours between the junctions of Hamilton Road and London Road while investigators attend the scene.

The incident has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
