Police have confirmed they're investigating the death of teenager after Reading Festival
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "Thames Valley Police was made aware yesterday afternoon (27/8) of the death of a 17-year-old girl from Bedfordshire in hospital on Monday night (26/8).
“There has been some speculation about the cause of her death and whether it is linked to her attendance at Reading Festival at the weekend, and officers are liaising with Northants Police to establish the timeline of events.
“As the investigation into the cause of her death is ongoing, we are unable to comment further at this time.
“Any death of a young person is tragic and all our sympathies are with her family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
