Witney Homes Consultation
People in West Oxfordshire have a chance to have their say on plans to build up to a 1,000 new homes in Witney.
The proposed development would see the expansion to the west side of Witney with a new road junction between Downs Road and the A40.
The plans include a new school, land for businesses, community and leisure facilities and open spaces.
West Oxfordshire District Council says it hasn't set a date for the planning application to be considered, but it's likely to be in the summer.
Councillor Warwick Robinson, Cabinet Member for Planning said,
"This is a substantial application, providing additional housing and will have significant impact on the district. We welcome public interest and views from local residents, businesses and other interested organisations and groups so that we can make an informed decision."
From Monday 23 details about the plans will be on the council website or they can be viewed at the council's offices on New Yatt Road in Witney.
