A new hard-hitting video campaign is being launched by police in Devon and Cornwall warning of the dangers of excessive drinking.

The video, urges people to think about the consequences of drinking too much, becoming violent and causing trouble.
A group of young men are show enjoying a night out drinking; one of them 'leaves his brain at home', gets into a fight and is arrested.
 
The video is part of the successful ‘Don’t leave your brain at home’ campaign launched in Plymouth in September with Plymouth Community Safety Partnership.
 
The campaign is now being rolled out across Devon and Cornwall in the lead up to the festive season.

             

 
Both videos will be screened in pubs and clubs in the lead up to Christmas and New Year, and people will be encouraged to show their support via Twitter and Facebook.
