Tributes to 8 year old in laser death

The family of a boy who died suddenly at a laser quest party have paid tribute to him.

Eight year old Adam Winfindale from Wrexham, died on Sunday 5th June at Chester Quasar.

Adam became unwell during the party and was taken by Ambulance to the Countess of Chester Hospital. Adam was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

His family said:

"He was a very popular, bright and achieving pupil at Victoria C.P. School and will be sadly missed by his school friends and teaching staff.

"Adam was also an enthusiastic member of the 6th Wrexham Cubs, achieving many awards, a member of the Wrexham Tennis Academy and enjoyed regular swimming lessons.

"Adam was an all-round sportsman with a bright academic future. A contented and happy boy, whose special smile brought fun to any occasion.

"This devastating loss has greatly affected all who had the pleasure of knowing this remarkable little boy.
