Detectives are renewing their appeal for witnesses in connection with a stabbing which occurred in Watford recently. They are particularly keen to trace a man who is believed to have walked past the incident when it occurred.
The incident occurred at around 6.10pm on Thursday, August 5 in an alleyway off Queens Road. A man, aged in his 30s, received stab wounds and was taken to hospital. He received treatment for his injuries and was released the following day.
Three people were arrested in connection on suspicion of attempted murder:
All men have been released on police bail until 9 October.
DC Vishal Khanna from the Local Crime Unit said:
"I am renewing the appeal for witnesses to this incident to come forward. We know from our enquiries that a man wearing glasses walked through the alleyway onto Queens Road during the incident and we would very much like to speak to him about what he saw.
If this was you, or if anyone has information about the incident, they are asked to make contact with police as soon as possible. Please call me via the non-emergency number 101."
Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Watford, Nick Lillitou said:
"We are aware that this isolated incident has caused residents living in the area some concern and I would reassure them that the area has been subject to regular police patrols for some time now, and these have remained since the incident occurred."
